tennessee valley

all i can do these days is dream of travel. it's been a year now since we've moved back from prague and it seems so surreal. i think back to the streets we walked and the bedroom where we spent most of our time. i miss it beyond belief.

it's not exactly budget friendly to just hop on over to europe. thankfully, living in the states there are so many places to choose from to visit. we have friends and family all over the map.
let's see...

colorado- sister mani
california- brother leif, uncle jesse, drew swag
baltimore- paola/alex, my grandpa, kampes family, etc.
pennsylvania- erin/eli, donnelly's
dc- katelyn
new york- too many to name, many cousins
orlando- emily/paul
cleveland- cheryl/andrew
nashville- dana/keith
oregon- stacey/matt

and i'm sure there's plenty more...

this video is from the week of july in 2010 just 3 days before i moved to prague. i was in california with my dad for a track meet of his. we went and visited my brother, leif, in san francisco, and at the time my best friend, erin, was also there. we took a hike down to this beautiful beach. here is a silly little clip from a visit to the tennessee valley in marin county: caution- it gets really loud from the wind.

RIP rat

Amen to the dreaming of travel thing -- I have serious ants in my pants these days. I'm about ready to move to Asia to teach English again. Korean BBQ? Bowls of pho in Vietnam? Sunrise at Angkor Wat? (Note that I'm mostly thinking of food, big surprise.) I want adventure again.
